More and more I find my self bypassing Google search to go directly to vertical/meta search engines. Yelp for Restaurant/Bar advice, StackOverflow for technical questions, SeatGeek (my company) for tickets, FoodNetwork for recipes and of course Quora for marketing/business queries.
Much like Twitter redefined real-time Search and Google was forced to adjust by displaying Tweets in Search and incorporating them into the ranking factors, I noticed for a special Quora implementation in the SERPs

Here’s in the learn more link provided, which ultimately links to to their discussion of Social Search experiments. I can replicate this all the time, so I guess it is still just a test / variable dependent.
Must be nice to be the SEO at Quora and have this type of stuff get rolled out, but I guess they deserve if for an overall SEO job well done.
